Fall at the Liberty Cottage

Happy October! It's starting to look like Fall at the Liberty Cottage! My favorite part of this years Fall decor is the fun colorful fabric.  Another one of my fall Favorites for is burlap! So inexpensive & it comes in orange! It's getting a little chilly outside, so I think we'll head out back & light the fire pit!  I see some s'mores in my future! Have fun! I found these orange grapevine balls a couple of years ago. I love them! This year I decided to turn one into a lighting fixture. It's really pretty at night.

5 Easy Fall Decorating Ideas

The weather is getting cooler and it's time for me to bring in some warmer colors into our home. This is my plan for bring in the Fall!  Five Ideas to help you too. Fall decorating made easy! 

1) Starting  at the door. Adding  a colorful Fall wreath and some Pumpkins & Mums!

2) Harvest the home. Bring the Pumpkins and Gourds inside. .

     

3) Add a centerpiece to your dining table. Ideas. add Fall branches,a Fall flower arrangement, or a  bowl of red apples.

4) Add Autumn colors into your home, pillows & throws.

 5) Scented  candles. So many greats scents, Apple or Pumpkin Candles.

Painted Floors

It's a beautiful day today here in Marblehead!  Take a look at these beautiful painted floors! Love them, what a great way to update wood floors that have seen their day or been damaged.  I was thinking of painting my deck a pattern, wonder what that would look like? Well I have 3 seasons to get through before that happens.  Have fun!
